Agnes Anna (Niemeier) Kanzler, 88, of Evansville, passed away, Sunday, April 24, 2011, at Pine Haven Health & Rehab Center. She was born in Evansville on July 19, 1922, to Clemens & Mathilda (Stratman) Niemeier. Agnes was a graduate of Memorial High School & former member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was an avid photographer; former hairdresser; she loved flowers & gardening; & collecting sea shells & making craft items with them. She is preceded in death by her husband, Walter N. Kanzler in 2006 & her parents, Clemens & Mathilda Niemeier. Agnes is survived by a niece Charlotte Herwig & her husband Roger of St. Louis; sister, Rosella Schlageter of Evansville; & several other nieces, nephews, & godchildren. Funeral service will be held 1 p.m., Wednesday, April 27, 2011, at Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Miller & Miller Colonial Chapel, 100 E Columbia St, Evansville, (812) 424-9274.
