Aileen Marie Hillenbrand

Aileen Marie Hillenbrand, 93, of Evansville, Ind., passed away, Monday, December 18, 2017, at Evansville Protestant Home.  She was born September 4, 1924, in Evansville, to Martin and Louise (Frei) Hettenbach. 

Aileen was a longtime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church- All Saints Parish, where she was a member of the Altar Society; and enjoyed helping with Sunday dinners, the summer social, and putting up Christmas decorations.  She loved Bingo, liked to go on Senior Citizen's trips, activities at SWIRA, and loved to sew.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frank Hillenbrand; son, Randy Hillenbrand; and sisters, Alberta Causey, Lucille Kruse, and Dorothy Hettenbach.  Aileen is survived by her daughter, Teresa VanMeter (Steven); son, Rick Hillenbrand; daughter, Mary Beckwith (Joe); grandchildren, Ashley Burns (Josh), Sean VanMeter (Taylor), Abigail Beckwith, Sara Beckwith; and great-grandchildren, Carson Burns, Camren Burns, Conner Burns, Carleigh VanMeter, Emerson VanMeter.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m., with visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m., Thursday, December 21, 2017, at St. Joseph Catholic Church- All Saints Parish, 618 E. Virginia St., Evansville, Ind.  Rev. Fr. Eugene Schroeder will officiate.  Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church- All Saints Parish.
