Alfred "Al" Williams

Alfred T. Williams, age 76, of Newburgh, IN passed away on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at Linda White Hospice House in Evansville, IN. He was born January 10, 1945 in Pittsburgh, PA, son of the late Alfred K. and Dorothy (Viney) Williams.  

Alfred served in Vietnam Service with three Bronze Service Stars, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal and Honorable Discharge in 1968. He was a Designer Draftsman for Alcoa for thirty-seven years. Also, he was a Masonic member and attended Newburgh United Methodist Church. In his leisure time he loved to work on small engines, yard work, hunting, fishing, and being outdoors.

He will be missed by his loving wife of fifty one years; Patricia "Patty" (Lorch) Williams, son, Mike (Tiffany) Williams and daughter, Jennifer (Brady) Murray. Four grandchildren, Makayla (Blake), Hailey, Tristan, and Paige.

Alfred was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Betty Jean and Dorothy.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 4-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Simpson Chapel 510 W. Jennings St. Newburgh, IN 47630 (812-853-8314).

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Linda E. White Hospice House, 611 Harriet St. Evansville, IN 47710 and/or Newburgh United Methodist Church, 4178 State Route 261 Newburgh, IN 47630.
