Ann L. Galey

Ann L. Galey, 95, of Evansville, IN, passed away, Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at Golden Living Woodlands Health Care in Newburgh. She was born on January 26, 1924 to the late Robert and Susan (Schulte) Wirthwein in Chrisney, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Don F. Galey; brothers, Ray Wirthwein of Houston, TX, Robert Wirthwein of Rockport, IN; sisters, Elaine Raven of Newtonville, IN, and Leta Waninger of Evansville. Ann is survived by two daughters, Linda Galey and Debi Ayers (Steve) all of Evansville; many nieces and nephews; Rose Galey of Casey, IL. Also surviving are grand-fur babies, Harley, Ernie, Karma and Blitz. The family would like to thank the Woodlands staff and nurses who cared for Ann during her last years. There will be no service per Ann's request. Memorial contributions may be made in Ann's name to any animal rescue of your choice.
