Anna Pepper, 81, passed away, Thursday, January 19, 2012, at Deaconess Hospital.
She was born, July 10, 1930, in Germany, to Alfred & Franzaik (Stowasser) Misof.
She married Richard Pepper on August 15, 1953. Anna was a stay at home mom,
caring for her 4 children. She loved going to the Casino Boat and out to dinner with
her husband and with her best friend of 37 years, Arla Burns. She loved spending
time with her grandchildren, her cat Tigger, and eating any kind of sweets. She was
the most perfect mom and grandma in the world and she's gonna be missed very
much. She was always there for her entire family!
She is preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Franzaik (Stowasser)
Misof, and by her husband of 55 years, Richard Pepper, in 2008; and sister
Friederike Kaplan.
Surviving are her 4 children, Irene Schatz of Germany, James Pepper of Groveland,
Florida, Susan Pepper of Evansville, Vicky Pepper of Wadesville; 5 grandchildren,
Leroy Van Horn IV, Michael Pepper, Justin Carter, Wendy Pepper, Danyelle
Maggard; 3 great-grandchildren, Makali Carter, Austin Maggard, Aleah Maggard; 3
sisters, Maria Hagen of Germany, Elisabeth Spicher of Charleston, SC, and Herta
Sabo of Germany.
Burial will be at a later date, there are no services or visitation at Titzer Family
Funeral Homes, Miller & Miller Colonial Chapel. Condolences may be made online at

Contributions may be made to any Humane Society, the American Lung
Association, American Cancer Society, Wadesville Fire Department, or Disabled
Veterans. Anna always sent packages to the U.S. Troops in Afghanistan.
