Bernie E. Goad, 80, of Evansville, IN passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at Deaconess Midtown Hospital. He was born on October 20, 1944, in Sebree, KY, to Bernie Goad and Antoinette (Rentchler) Irons.

Bernie was a very generous, loving, kindhearted man who enjoyed helping people. He was a graduate of Reitz High School and worked at Hammer Industry for many years. He loved baking and was an avid gardener who enjoyed giving his vegetables away for all to enjoy. Bernie was also a member of the Beulah Masonic Lodge #578 in Mount Vernon, IN. He will be missed dearly by those closest to him.

Bernie is survived by his son, Jeff Goad (Shelley); sister, Georgia Weightman (Roy); and several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his two brothers, Louis and Billy Irons.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Monday, December 16, 2024, at Titzer Family Funeral Homes Meyer Chapel, 100 E. Columbia St., Evansville, IN 47711, with burial to follow at Memorial Park cemetery. Masonic services will take place prior to the funeral service. Visitation will be on Monday, December 16, 2024, from 9:00 am to the time of service at the funeral home.

Donations in memory of Bernie may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
