Betty Ann Smith, 68, of Evansville, passed away, Friday, September 3, 2010 at Deaconess Hospice Center. She was born October 25, 1941 in Kentucky to Frank and Dorothy Nell Rutt. She worked for the Evansville Police Department in the records room and retired from Target. She enjoyed playing bingo. Betty Ann is survived by two sons, Tim Smith and wife, Star of Evansville and William Ritzer Smith and wife, Ann of Texas; two sisters, Brenda Huntsman and Mary Kay Albough; two brothers, Jerry Rutt and Larry Rutt; three grandchildren. Services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at Titzer Family Funeral Homes ~ Meyer Chapel, 100 E. Columbia St. Evansville, IN. Sgt. Darren Sroufe will officiate. Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., Tuesday, September 7, 2010 and Wednesday, 9 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.
