Betty "Boop" Broshears
Betty "Boop" Broshears, 78, of Newburgh, Ind., left this world and moved
into her heavenly home Friday afternoon May 3, 2013. It won't be long
before she knows everyone there! She had a big huge loving personality
with a sweet gentle spirit.
She has been known as "Betty Boop" since she was a little girl. Born and
raised in Newburgh, she graduated from Newburgh High School in 1952
and was a cheerleader and sang in the glee club. She loved gardening,
working in the yard, feeding the birds and anything that pertained to
"outside" and "sunshine". She was an avid Tiger Woods fan, and watched
every tournament.
She was a member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Chandler, Ind.
She loved her family and friends very much and will be missed until we
reunite again someday. God Bless you Mom. We Love You.
Special thanks to Dr Thomas Waits for being the most compassionate
doctor. She loved you very much. She also loved the whole staff at OHA.
Thanks to VNA Hospice for all you did to make mom's final days more
comfortable.
