Billy Glen Morris, 82, of Elberfeld, passed away Thursday, November 19, 2009, at St. Mary's Medical Center. He was born September 18, 1927 in Boonville, IN, to Dan and Emily (Caswell) Morris. He served in the United States Navy during WWII and was a member of the Evansville VFW Post# 1114 and the Elberfeld American Legion Post# 351. He worked for Servel from 1946 to 1954 and Terminex from 1954 to 2003. Billy loved to work on antique cars. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Marilene Morris in 1999. Billy is survived by his sister, Phyllis Jamison of Boonville; brother, Gerald Morris (Clarice) of Boonville; brother-in-law, Downey Thene; nephew, Dan Jamison and nieces, Donna Alexander and Carla Dunahay; and special friend, Clevia Jean Kruse. Services will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, November 23, 2009 at Titzer Family Funeral Homes ~ Volkman Chapel, 2nd & Elm Streets Elberfeld, IN. Burial will be in Zion Cemetery. Military graveside services will be conducted by the Elberfeld American Legion honor guard. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., Sunday, November 22, 2009 and Monday 9 a.m. to service time at the funera l home. Condolences may be made @titzerfuneralhomes.com.
