Billy L. White Billy L. White, 75, of Evansville, passed away Friday, May 16, 2008, at Select Specialty Hospital in Evansville. Billy was a 45 year member of the Plumbers local 136. He founded the local Aquarium Club of Evansville in 1962, and he was also president of the local tropical fish club. He was a member of the Purple Martin Conservancy. He served in the US Army in Washington DC during the Korean War. He enjoyed more than anything spending time with his family. Billy is survived by his wife of 53 years, Helene, three daughters: Cheryl White Burnette of Atlanta, Laurie and Judy White Bartley of Evansville; two sons: Michael of Bloomington, Indiana and Andy of Evansville. Five grandchildren: Amy, Hali, William, Sara, and Mary. His sister: Sue Heard, and six brothers: Jim, Dion, Terry, Larry, Richard, and Jeff. Billy was preceded in death by his parents, Riley and Lucille (Niebrugge) White, and a sister: Diane Ausbrooks. Services for Billy will be Monday, May 19, 2008, 7 p.m. at Titzer Family Funeral Home ~ Meyer Chapel, 100 E. Columbia St., Evansville, IN (812) 424-9288, officiated by Pastor Bryan Martin, with visitation beginning at 3 p.m. until service time. Burial will be Tuesday, May 20, 2008, 10 a.m. at Park Lawn Cemetery with military rites. Condolences may be made online at www.titzerfunealhomes.com
