Bobby Sue Johnson

Bobby Lewis Johnson, 81, passed away on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital. Bobby was born April 25,1939 in Prentiss, KY to the late Wilbur Lewis and Lelia Bell (Meredith) Johnson.  Bobby was a graduate of Central High School class of 1958. He was a 55 year member of Laborers Local 561 and was working for Industrial Contractors when he retired in 1994.  There was never a dull day when working with or around Bobby, he was always happy and joking, so much that it was contagious. The day always went faster when working with him. Bobby loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. The Camaraderie of hunting or fishing trip with friends or family was something he really enjoyed.

Bobby was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He set great store by family and friends and love to have them over for cookouts to socialize.  

He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Ellen (Shaw) Johnson, daughter, Rebecca Lynn Wornika and brother, David L. Johnson. He is survived by his son Jamie Johnson, grandsons Josh, David, Luke and Jacob (who has been his caregiver). Two sisters Gaynell Goodwin and Rita Mayo. Two brothers Rollie and John.
