Bonnie Joyce Harris, 84, of Haubstadt, Ind. passed away Tuesday November 26, 2013 at Riveroaks Health Campus, Princeton, Ind. Bonnie was born March 24, 1929, in Elberfeld. Ind. She married Thomas Edward Harris on June 17, 1949, and lived in Elberfeld most of her life. She was a member of New Jerusalem United Methodist Church, Elberfeld American Legion Auxiliary, Eagles and Owls. She was preceded in death by her parents, Barges and Amanda Hedges; her sisters, Savannah Gorman and Goldie Lochmueller; brothers, Tom Arendell and Preston Arendell; husband, Thomas; son, Thurman Glenn. Bonnie is survived by her sons, Joe (Jo Ann) of Evansville, Ken (Marianne) of Palm Coast, FL, and Danny (Judy) of Haubstadt; grandchildren, Shelli Cathcart (Kevin), Brad Harris (Stacey), Jeremiah Harris (Kelly), CJ. Woody Jr. (Jennifer), Christina Richards (Fabian Sr.) and Kaitlin Harris; great-grandchildren, Brayden Harris, Lane Harris, Bryce Harris, Judd Cathcart, Leah Woody, Ayden Woody, and Fabian Richards, Jr. She is also survived by her long time friend, Norman Reiter of Evansville. Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday November 29, 2013 at New Jerusalem United Methodist Church, 150 First St. Elberfeld, Ind. Reverend Brenda Wick will officiate with burial in Northview Cemetery, Elberfeld. Friends may call at the church from 10 a.m. to time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to New Jerusalem United Methodist Church or Southern Hospice Care.
