Brenda Kay Young

Brenda Kay Young, 64, of Chandler IN passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family, on December 10 2024.

Brenda was born on October 9, 1960, in Evansville IN to loving parents Kenneth and Dorothy Young. After high school, Brenda spent a lifelong career in the restaurant industry and started a family. Brenda loved her country music, stand-up comedy, and the outdoors. She will be remembered as loving, funny, strong and stubborn – Brenda will be missed dearly by her family and friends.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Dorothy; and two of her step-sisters, Judy and Donna. Brenda is survived by her children Kristial Young, Jason Young, and Lacie (Cheyanna) Becker; grandchildren Kaylei Byers, Layla Byers, and Curtis Young; brothers Rick and Thomas; stepmother Lou; and stepsiblings Brenda, Patty, Terry and Danny.

A funeral service will be held in Brenda’s honor on Saturday, December 14th 2024, at 3:00 p.m. at Titzer Family Funeral Homes Simpson Chapel 510 W Jennings Street in Newburgh IN. A visitation will be held at the same location on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 3:00 p.m.
