Cammie Mae Powell, 93, of Newburgh, passed away, Thursday, January 22, 2009 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital. She was born on December 21, 1915 in Hawesville, Kentucky to Bradley and Inez (Pryor) Combs. Her husband, Clarence Glenn Powell preceded her in death in 1993. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a two brothers, Charles and Cleo and sister, Louise Chase. She is survived by one son, Clarence V. (Helen) Powell of Newburgh and one daughter, Lois J. Gold of Greenville, Kentucky; grandchildren, Patti Greer, Jim Gold, Angela Gray, Susan Robbins ( Rob) and Shawn Chappell; great-grandchildren, Jared Gray, Jamie Gray, Dana Greer, Brittany Rose, Cherish Gold and Haley Chappell, Jacob, Jason, and Joshua Robbins; great- great-grandchild, Jaden Gray. Services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, January 24, 2009 at Titzer Family Funeral Homes ~ Simpson Chapel, 510 W. Jennings Street Newburgh, Indiana. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, 11 a.m. to service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Warrick County Humane Society.
