Carl Elwood Miller Carl Elwood Miller, 75, of Newburgh, IN, and a life long resident of Warrick County, passed away, Sunday, April 13, 2008, surrounded by his wife and children. Carl was a husband, father, grandfather great-grandfather, veteran and much more. Carl maintained a positive attitude and active life while enduring years of poor health. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cluster and LuLu Miller; brother, Marvin Miller and sister, Leala Ashley. Carl is survived by his wife of 54 years, Nancy (Titzer) Miller; nine children, Brock (Joni) Miller of Bloomfield, IN, Carla (Steve) Parkes of Plainfield, IL, Jane (Roger)Helms of Bloomfield, IN, Kim (Tom) Sparks of Lyons, IN, Kirk (Marilea) Miller of Peachtree City, GA, Mary Williams of Peachtree City, GA, Brenda (Dan) O'Connor of Shiloh, IL, Jill (Doug) Turner of Lawrenceville, GA, Ryan (Ashley) Miller of Lynnville, IN; eighteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; brother Curran Miller and sister, Beulah Robb; and friends at Hardees in Newburgh. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to your favorite charity. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, 2008, at Titzer Family Funeral Homes ~ Simpson Chapel 510 W. Jennings St. Newburgh, IN. Rev. Fr. Ron Kreilein will officiate with burial in St. John 's Cemetery in Newburgh. Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 15, 2008, and Wednesday, 11 a.m. to service time at the funeral home. Condolences may be made online @ www.titzerfuneralhomes.com.
