Carolyn Sue Smith

Carolyn Sue Smith, a beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2023. She was born on July 5, 1960 in Evansville, Indiana. She leaves behind cherished memories and a legacy of love that will forever be held close to the hearts of those who knew her.

Survived by her husband, Jesse, loving son, Eric (Leslie), and brother, David (Mary) Barnett. Carolyn's presence brought warmth, joy, and wisdom to their lives. Her unwavering love and care will continue to be a guiding light for her family.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Harold Jr. and Patricia Barnett, and her in-laws, Bruce and Joyce Smith.

A loving mother, Carolyn's love extended beyond her family. She was a compassionate friend, always ready to lend an ear and offer a helping hand. Her kind and caring nature touched the lives of many during her years as a bus driver, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew her.

A private burial was held at Rose Hill Cemetery 5133 State Road 261., Newburgh, IN 47630.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to a nonprofit of their choice in memory of Carolyn's compassionate spirit and her dedication to loving others.
