Charles E. Myers Charles E. Myers, 72, of Evansville, passed away, Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at Deaconess Hospice Care Center. He was born on June 9, 1936, in Beaver Dam, Kentucky to the late John Martin and Jimmy Gertrude (Elmore) Myers. He was a Navy veteran and retired after some 20 years with the Silgan Company in Evansville. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Janice (Williamson) Myers; four daughters, Theresa Rabold (Michael) of Evansville, Stacey Crawford of Rockport, Indiana, Belendia Myers of Evansville, Michele Chappell (James) of Evansville; one son, Terry Williamson (Peggy) of Evansville; nine grandchildren, Chad and Joshua Crawford, Donovan Rigdon, Charles Utley, Andy Scarbrough, Matthew Rabold, Dusten Chappell, Hunter Rabold, and Destiny Chappell; two brothers, Ray Myers (Rita) and Leroy Myers (Barbara) all of Evansville. Services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, August 1, 2008 at Titzer Family Funeral Homes ~ Meyer Chapel, 100 E. Columbia St. Evansville, Indiana. Pastor Carl Mann will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery with military graveside rites conducted by the Vanderburgh County Retired Veterans Club. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday, July 31, 2008 and on Friday, 9 a.m. to service time at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
