Charles "Charlie" May, 91, of Evansville, Ind., passed away, Friday,
December 14, 2012, at Deaconess Hospice Care Center. He was born
February, 6, 1921, in Laramie, Wyoming, to Ralph and Lillian (Jackson)
May. Charlie loved the outdoors, and served in the United States Army
during World War II. He retired, after many years, from Fiberfil Plastic
Company as a machine operator.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Catherine in 2005; son,
Hansel May in 1983; and sister, Francis.
Charlie is survived by his sons, John (Tammy) May, Stephen (Denise) May,
Lanyard May; grandchildren, Amanda Collins, Gayla Collins, Kaci May,
Sara May, Ryan Philpot, Stephen Philpot, Chris Johnson, Jonathon
Graham, Allyssa Kuntz, R.J. Mata; brothers, Irvin (Mildred) May, Jim, and
Eugene May.
A funeral service will be held 10 a.m., Wednesday, December 19, 2012, at
Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Meyer Chapel, 100 E Columbia St.,
Evansville, Indiana (812) 424-9288. Burial will be 1 p.m., Wednesday at
McIntosh Cemetery in Nortonsville, Kentucky.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m., Tuesday and 9 a.m. to service time
