Christine Charlotte (Buck) McCubbin, 93, of Evansville, passed away, Thursday, August 21, 2008 at Deaconess Hospice Care. She was born on November 8, 1914, in Buckskin, Indiana to the late Fred and Clara (Wilhelm) Buck. She graduated from Central High School in 1931. She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ (German Twp.) She became a secretary for Kissel Printers and worked 25 years, before retiring in 1989. Christine married James Robert McCubbin who preceded her in death in 1989. Along with her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by two sisters, Anne Niemeier and Matilda Williams and two brothers, John and Richard Buck. Survivors include, daughter, Roberta Lenfers and her husband, Leonard, of Evansville; granddaughter, Sandi Miles and her husband, Mark of Florida; two great-granddaughters, Elisabeth and Kathleen Miles; brother, Carl Buck of Florida; sister, Flo Griese of Evansville; and several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank Deaconess Hospice Care Unit. Services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, August 25, 2008 at Titzer Family Funeral Homes ~ Meyer Chapel, 100 E. Columbia St. Evansville, Indiana. Reverend Dan Sather will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon to 8 pm, Sunday, August 24, 2008 and Monday, 10 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.
