Clyde Robert Breeden 92, of Newburgh IN. passed away Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at the Ascension St. Vincent Hospital Evansville IN.

 He was born January 28, 1932, in Newburgh IN. to Elmer & Agnes (Saltsgaver) Breeden.

 Clyde graduated from Newburgh High School in 1950. 

 He served in United States Navy overseas during Korean War aboard the USS Tanner. 

 Clyde retired after 33 years from The Ball Corporation formerly Kent Plastics as a supervisor. He also had worked in maintenance for St. Mary’s Hospital and Tecumseh High School Warrick County School Corporation. 

 Clyde was a Life Member of the Newburgh American Legion Kapperman Post 44 where he was very active in the Honor Guard and other duties.

 Clyde was very proud of his Newburgh roots & traditions, staying here and raising his family. He was very well known for his gardening & sharing of his tomatoes with friends and neighbors. He once swam in 1948 from Newburgh to Evansville Dress Plaza in the Ohio River with his brother, Harold and some friends.

 He is preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Erma D. Loehr, brothers, Robert Breeden, Richard Breeden, Ralph & Harold Breeden, and son, Jeff Hart.

 Clyde is survived by his wife, Georgia Ann Hart Breeden, of 66 years (Oct. 26 would have celebrated 67 years), son, John Breeden (Carla), grandson, Joshua Breeden (Emily), and great grandsons, James & Lucas Breeden, several nieces and nephews, Mark Loehr, Mike Loehr, Lana Bilchak, Ralph Breeden, Robert Breeden, Richard Breeden, Sharon Crimi, Linda Martin, David Ryan, Mark Ryan.

 A funeral will be held at 4 pm. on Tuesday, October 1st, 2024, officiated by Pastor David Siegmann with full military rites conducted by the American Legion Kapperman Post 44 Honor Guard following service at the Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Simpson Chapel, 510 W. Jennings St. Newburgh IN. (812)853-8314. Visitation will begin at 2pm. Burial will be at a later date in Rose Hill Cemetery Newburgh IN.
