Curtis Wayne Barton

Curtis Wayne Barton, 50, of Elberfeld, IN, passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at home.  He was born August 25, 1967 in Evansville.

He graduated from Tecumseh High School in 1986 and worked at Tri-State Brake for 16 years followed by Perfection Driveline until his illness.  Curtis was a member of the Sons of The American Legion of Elberfeld and a member of Zion UCC.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Martin Eli and Mae Katherine (Feistel) Schultz; paternal grandparents, Lennis and Opal (Bethe) Barton.

He is survived by his wife, Blossom (Comer) Barton; father, Orvil "Fuzzy" Barton; mother, Bettye (Schultz) Barton; daughter, Valerie (Barton) Dockery (Adrian); step-daughter, Marissa Budde; step-son, Blake Budde; step-granddaughter, Eradyss Budde; sister, Tammy (Barton) Foster (Wayne); niece, Jodi (Foster) Mullen (Nick); nephew, Kyle Foster; great-nephew, Brooks Mullen.

A Funeral Service will be held at 7 p.m., with visitation beginning at 3 p.m., Friday, July 13, 2018 at Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Volkman Chapel, 2nd & Elm Sts., Elberfeld, IN (812) 983-4211.   Burial will be at a later date in Zion Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Brain Tumor Association.  Sympathy wishes to the family may be shared at www.titzerfuneralhomes.com.
