David F. Tepool David F. Tepool, 54, of Newburgh, passed away Thursday, May 28, 2009, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital. He was born October 20, 1954, to Leo Edgar and Georgianna (Schmitt) Tepool in Evansville. He worked for 30 plus years at Kenny Kent starting out washing cars working his way up to controller and part owner. He loved reading and gaming, and designing games, he ran a part time business, Olde Rivertowne Miniatures, and he was interested in military history, especially the Air Force. He was a member of St. Matthews United Church of Christ in Evansville. David was preceded in death by his father, Leo Edgar Tepool. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Patti Tepool of Newburgh, son Jason Tepool (Jennifer) of Colorado, daughter, Kira Tepool of Newburgh, granddaughter, Abigail, mother, Georgianna Tepool of Evansville, sisters, Carol Fiester of Evansville, Sharon Hayden of Missouri, several nieces and nephews, and his loving dog who was sidekick, Bandit. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the doctors and nurses of the ICU unit at Deaconess Gateway Hospital. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, June 2, 2009, at Titzer Family Funeral Homes ~ Simpson Chapel, 510 W. Jennings St., Newburgh Indiana, (812) 853-8314, Pastor Art Christmas will officiate and entombment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Monday, June 1, 2009 at Titzer Family Funeral Homes ~ Simpson Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the David Tepool Memorial Scholarship Fund at any First Federal Bank. Condolences may be made online at www.titzerfuneralhomes.com
