David G. Howard David G. Howard, 49, of Newburgh, formerly of Ventura County, CA , passed away Sunday, December 27, 2009 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital . He was born on July 5, 1960 in Farmington, NM to Don Edward and Betty Lee (Wilson) Howard. He was preceded in death by his parents. David loved serving the Lord. He was an ordained Christian Minister and had a passion for youth ministry. He was his wife's "bestest friend". David was fun loving and had an enormous sense of humor. He is survived by his wife Juli; children, D.J. and Shelby; sisters, Patty Walker (Douglas) of CA, Debbie Allen of LA, Donna Russell (Joe) of LA, Maxine Whittaker (Larry) of OR, Mary Maples (Gordon) of AZ, and Theresa Michl of CA. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, January 2, 2010 at Riverwind Church , 4977 Vann Rd. Newburgh , Indiana . Pastor Marty Williams will officiate. Visitation with the family will be held from 9:30 a.m. to service time. Titzer Family Funeral Homes ~ Simpson Chapel, 510 W. Jennings St. Newburgh, IN 812-853-8314 are handling arrangements.
