David Joe Schultz, 60, of Elberfeld, IN, passed away, Saturday, November 14, 2009 at his home after a long illness. He was born September 10, 1949 in Elberfeld to Norman and Venita (Oeth) Schultz. He was a truck driver. David was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew, Brian Schultz. He is survived by his brother, Arthur Schultz and his wife Linda of Grey, TN; two sisters, Geneva Williams of Richland, IN and Linda Veeck and her husband, Kenneth of Elberfeld; two nephews, Bruce Schultz of Arizona and Kenneth Veeck II of Elberfeld; two nieces Alicia Johnson of Johnson City, TN and Rachel Veeck of Elberfeld; two great-nieces, Britney Johnson of England and Jessica Schultz of Indianapolis; one great-nephew, Zachary Schultz of Ft. Branch, In. He also leaves behind his care givers, Janeth Miller of Elberfeld and Ryan Austin of Ft. Branch, IN. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. ,Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at Zion Cemetery in Elberfeld. Pastor Steve Oeth will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Hospital, Hospices or Shriners Hospitals. Arrangements are being handling by Titzer Family Funeral Homes ~ Volkman Chapel, 2nd. & Elm Streets Elberfeld, IN. Condolences may be made online @titzerfuneralhomes.com.
