David M. Stark, 86, of Newburgh, Ind., passed away Sunday May 24, 2015 at The Charlier Hospice Center at Deaconess VNA Plus. He was born on January 22, 1929 in West Terre Haute, Ind. to Matthew Topping and Elizabeth Moffatt (Tweedie) Stark. He retired after 31 years as a Senior Field Service Manager for Burroughs (Unisys). He was a lifetime Mason in Scotland. David enjoyed many years of traveling with his wife, Doris and also tending his garden. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Pete, John, and Matthew; sister Agnes. David is survived by his wife, Doris Nixon (Thorburn) Stark; sons, Alan Stark (Maggie) of West Lafayette, Ind., and Brian Stark (Susie) of Evansville; five grandchildren, Matthew, Kyle, Corey, Tiffany, and Sarah; six great-grandchildren; sister, Helen Mackenzie of West Lothian, Scotland. David's wishes were no viewing or funeral. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The Charlier Hospice Center at Deaconess VNA Plus, 610 E. Walnut St. Evansville, Ind. 47713.
