Debra S. Lahmann, 68, of Somerville, IN, passed away at her home on Friday, November 1, 2024. She was born on June 14, 1956, to the late Daniel Lahmann and Faysene (Wells) Freeman. Debbie loved spending time with her family, and found so much joy and companionship in her furry friends Tiny and Lilly.
Debbie worked various jobs in her lifetime, but spent her last working years at the Gibson County CO-OP.
Debbie is survived by her daughter, Tricia Kaiser (Craig); grandchildren Jordan Kaiser (Melissa), Sidney Seaton (Cameron); great-grandchildren Luke and Joni, as well as two more great-granddaughters on the way. She is also survived by her siblings, Greg Lahmann (Mae), Rick Lahmann (Karla), Brandon Lahmann (Melinda), Charlene Yauger, Wanda Sundburg, Ronnie Anderson and Jamie Mastro; several nieces and nephews and some very special friends, who she considered family.
Besides her parents, Debbie was preceded in death by her son John Meade, her stepmother Kit Lahmann, brother Bruce, sister Diane and her partner of many years, John Santanen.
The family would like to thank St. Vincent Cancer Care as well as her wonderful friends who stepped in and helped out during her time of need; Steve Lamar, Rhonda Riecken, Jenny Austill & Helena, Amanda R., Francesca Sampsel and Staff of Pink Paws Play and Stay.
A funeral service will be held at 10 am, Saturday, Nov. 9, 2024, at Titzer Family Funeral Homes Volkman Chapel, 2nd and Elm St., Elberfeld, IN. 47613, (812) 983-4211, with burial to follow in Susott cemetery, Elberfeld. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm., Friday, Nov. 8, 2024, and from 9 am. till time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.
Donations in honor of Debbie may be made to Court Strong INC or Pink Paws Play and Stay of Boonville.
