Dirk R. Sinclair

Dirk R. Sinclair, 57, of Newburgh, IN, passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at the Linda E. White Hospice House in Evansville.  He was born June 11, 1960 at Fairchild AFB in Spokane, WA to Richard D. and Angela M. (Schutz) Sinclair.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Angela, as well as his brother, Derik.  Dirk is survived by his father, Richard D. Sinclair (Linda Folz-Sinclair); sister, Dakri Sinclair (Jim Herrell); and his long-time partner of 23 years, Teresa J. Kell; as well as nieces and nephews.

Dirk was employed at Brake Supply going on 15 years as a wash-unload technician, prior to that he was employed at Miller Electroplating and Dale Sales Distributors.  In addition, he played a huge role as national sales director for his parent’s business “The Arbor Hill House”.

Dirk’s sense of humor and gratitude for what others did for him even while under medical treatment was un-surpassed.  While undergoing medical care at Deaconess Gateway Hospital he would compliment the nursing staff saying “Great Job, Thank You” for even the simplest thing.

Dirk and Teresa could be found nearly every Sunday at the Crazy Buffet, in fact they had a standing table always waiting for them at 11:00 a.m.

It’s an understatement to say that, Dirk will truly be missed by his family, friends, and fellow employees at Brake Supply.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m., with visitation beginning at 11 a.m., Saturday, February 10, 2018, at Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Simpson Chapel, 510 W.
