Donald Leroy Lant

Donald Leroy Lant, 86, of Newburgh, Ind., passed away, Tuesday, September 19, 2017, at his home.  He was born November 3, 1930, in Newburgh, Ind., to George and Wilmina Fredrecka (Westerhoff) Lant. 

Donald was a truck driver for Airtech of Fairfield, IL, Inland Container, and Eaton Axle of Henderson; he was a member of the Local Teamsters Truck Driving Union for 16 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Carolyn Lant; and son, Donald Lant, Jr.  Buck is survived by his children, Donna Lutz (Jerry), Kathy Sue Lant, Darin Lant (Tina); daughter-in-law, Karen Lant; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Elmer Lant, Sharon Raibley, and Larry Lant.

A Funeral Service will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, September 23, 2017, at Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Simpson Chapel, 510 W. Jennings St., Newburgh, Ind., (812) 853-8314.  Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
