Donna Helane Fischer

Donna H. Fischer, 72, of Evansville, Ind., passed away Saturday, December 9, 2017, at her home.  She was born May 16, 1945, to Charles Henry and Mary Martha (Taylor) Horney. 

Donna had been working with horses all of her life.  She was an animal lover. She also leaves behind her horse Tate and dog Cordell.  She loves them like they were her children.  At Schnuck's Bakery she had many achievements for her hard work and dedication. She has decorated many wedding cakes over the years.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul Guy Fischer; and sister, Martha Darlene Moore.  She is survived by seven children, Rebecca Nutt (Kenny), Brian Green (Allyssa), Scott Green (Dawn), Tony Wilson (Dawn), David Fischer, Gerald Fischer (Tina), and Paula Blair (Dean); twenty-one grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and a sister, Annette Carlson.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, December 15, 2017, at Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Volkman Chapel, 2nd & Elm Sts., Elberfeld, Ind., (812) 983-4211.  Burial will follow in Zion Cemetery.
