Dora Ella Burgner, 88, of Evansville, Ind., went to be with the Lord, Saturday, April 21, 2012, at West Park Rehab Center. She was born November 2, 1923, to the late George Cross and Maymie (Coats) Cross Kellams. Dora enjoyed crafts, crocheting, and gardening. Before becoming ill, she attended Calvary Temple Church. Dora is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Burgner, Sr.; brother, George Cross; sister, Mary Nunning; daughter, Carolyn Sanders; and grandson, Dennis Gray. She is survived by her son, Jerry (Tonya) Gray of Rensselaer, IN; daughter, Margaret Cain of Evansville; son, Charles Burgner, Jr. of Herndon, VA; sister, Patricia Dempsey of Newburgh and sister, Barbara Keene of Tampa FL.; six grandchildren, Jeff Molinet, David Cain, Kim Richardson, Randy Gray, Misty Mitchell, and Elizabeth Gray; and several great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held, 10 a.m., Thursday, April 26, 2012, at Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Miller & Miller Colonial Chapel, 100 E. Columbia St., Evansville, (812) 424-9274, Reverend Jeff Edmondson officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park. Visitation is, 3 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, and 9 a.m. to service time Thursday.
