Doris (Sanders) Melton of Warrick County Doris Sanders Melton, 65, passed away Thursday, March 15, 2012, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital. She was born July 14, 1946, in Illinois, to Harold and Grace (Groves) Oldham. Doris worked for many years at McDonalds in Boonville. She was of Baptist faith. Her greatest pride were her many grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Willis L. Sanders; son, Allen W. Sanders; a brother and sister. Doris is survived by her husband, Donald Melton; five children, Rick Sanders (Bobbie), Joyce Heck (Gary), Melanie White (Tim), Willis Sanders, Tara Sanders (Nathan Vanover); grandchildren, Draven Sanders, Walker White, Colter Vanover, Samantha White, Eldon Vanover; three brothers, Wayne (Kathy), Jimmy (Linda), and Bobby (Alfie). Friends may visit from 3 to 7 p.m., Sunday, March 18, 2012, at Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Simpson Chapel, 510 W. Jennings St., Newburgh, (812) 853-8314. A private graveside will be held at Dixon Cemetery in Grand Rivers KY. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Doris to any Old National Bank.
