Dorothy Ferrier of Elberfeld, Ind. Dorothy (Kuhlenschmidt) Ferrier, passed away, Monday morning, May 14, 2012, at 2:20 a.m. She was 98 years old and was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Kuhlenschmidt of Elberfeld in 1981; her daughter, Ruth Ann Giolitto of Evansville in 1983; her husband, Tony Maimone of Florida in 1996; her husband, James Ferrier of Florida in 2007. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Nan Young (Thomas W. Young); three grandsons, John Richard (Ritchie) Maier (Annette), Travis W. Young, Marc P. Young; and a granddaughter, Jill Ann Heuer (John); several great-grandchildren; sister, Charlotte Oestreicher; and sister-in-law, Marlyn Johnson. She lived in Elberfeld, Indiana, until 1986 at which time she moved to Bellaire, Florida, where she lived until 2010 when she returned to Indiana to live at Transcendent Healthcare of Boonville, Indiana. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m., Thursday, May 17, 2012, at Titzer Family Funeral Home, Volkman Chapel, 2nd & Elm Streets, Elberfeld, Indiana, (812) 983-4211. Burial will follow at Northview Cemetery. Visitation is 6-8 p.m., Wednesday and 9 a.m. to service time Thursday, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to any Hospice of your choice.
