Dorothy L. Thomason, 90, of Yankeetown, passed away, Friday, August 20, 2010 at Transcendent Healthcare of Boonville. She was born, June 27, 1920 in Muhlenburg County, Kentucky to Irvin and Beulah (Shrewsbury) Vincent. She was a home maker. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Patricia Holt; sisters, Frances Bethel and Willodean Davis; granddaughter, Nancy Gail West; son-in-law, Wendel W. West; ex-husband, Elbert Lee Thomason. Dorothy is survived by children, Nancy West, Bill (Judy), Ronnie (Patti), Barbara Boxx (Brian), Gordon (Cookie), Lewis (Pam), and Mickey; 16 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great grandchildren. Services will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at Titzer Family Funeral Homes ~ Simpson Chapel, 510 W. Jennings St. Newburgh, IN. Pastor Phil Elikofer will officiate with burial in Bates Hill Cemetery. Visitation 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Monday, August 23, 2010 and Tuesday, 9 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.
