Edna Mae Sloat Edna Mae Sloat, 80 of Evansville, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, June 28, 2008 at Parkview Care Center. Edna retired from the Evansville Plating Works after 32 years and attended St. Paul's Lutheran Church. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mildred (Sloat) Bryant and a nephew, Donald Ray Johnson. Edna is survived by a sister, Mary Lou Whitney and her husband Harold, brothers, Jack Sloat and his wife Barbara, Earl Sloat and his wife Florence. Also, nieces, Janice Wade (Jerry), Judy Valchano, Karen, Linda, Sharon Sloat, Karen Wall, Peggy Blankenship, Brandi, Magen, and Mallory Haleman, nephews, Bruce Haleman (Ruth), Mark Sloat (Beverly), Tim Sloat (Donna), Mike Sloat, Don Johnson (Carisa), Bruce Haleman II. A funeral service will be held at 10 AM., Tuesday, July 1, 2008 at the Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Miller & Miller Colonial Chapel, 100 E. Columbia St., Evansville IN. 47711, (812) 424-9274, officiated by Rev. Walter Ullman, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM., Monday at the Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Miller & Miller Colonial Chapel, 100 E. Columbia St. Evansville.
