Edward Leonard Lenfers

Edward L. Lenfers, 78, of Evansville, passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at Linda E. White Hospice House, Evansville, Indiana. Edward was born January 3, 1942 the son of George E. and Zola (Shaw) Lenfers. He graduated from North High School in 1960 and served in the United States Navy for four years. Edward was a volunteer at the Adams Food Pantry in Evansville, and United Caring Services, member of St. Paul UCC German Township church where he served as Trustee and retired from Whirlpool after 31 years. He is preceded by his parents, a sister and brother-in-law, Joan and Jim Baughn.

Edward is survived by his wife, Roberta (McCubbin-Powers) Lenfers, step-daughter Sandra Miles, step-granddaughters Elisabeth Miles, Kathleen Miles, nieces and nephews, and Best Buddy, Taco. 

Private graveside service will be held Friday, December 4th at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, Evansville, IN 47711. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's UCC German Township Church, 8701 Big Cynthiana Rd.
