Elizabeth Aileen Jeffries

Elizabeth Aileen Jeffries, 89, of Newburgh, IN passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at Linda E. White Hospice House in Evansville. She was born January 17, 1936, to Lewis and Jennie (Colvin) Martin.

Aileen was the receptionist at PAR for 38 years, and a member of Zion UCC in Newburgh. She enjoyed reading, playing Clabber, and loved her family very much. She will be remembered fondly by her family and friends. 

Aileen is survived by her son, Jerry (Vickie) of Darmstadt; grandchildren, Dr. Jessica Jeffries (Carl) of Evansville, Jared (Becky) of Los Angeles, and Justin (Rebekah) of Lexington; great grandchildren, Finley, Knox, Sebastian, and Griffin; and her nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 56 years, Owen Earl “Jeff” Jeffries; her son, Joe Jeffries; sister, Helen Wallenmeyer; and brothers; Gilbert, Lawrence, Carl, Paul, John, and Harold Martin. 

A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Simpson Chapel, 510 W. Jennings St. Newburgh, IN 47630, with visitation beginning at 9:00 am until the time of service.
