Emerson Robert Lindy

Emerson Robert "Bob" Lindy, 76, of Evansville, Ind., passed away, Friday, June 2, 2017.  He was born on May 19, 1941 to the late Emerson R. and Dorothy Mae (Steinmetz) Lindy.  He was a marksman while he served in the US Army.  He was well know downtown and  was always greeted by Mayor Russell Lloyd.  In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a brother, Ted.  Surviving are his five sisters, Carol Gates (Larry), Ann Hettenbach (Wayne), Joyce Lindy, Linda Rickard (Doug), and Sharon Studer; an aunt, Virginia Gates; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Meyer Chapel, 100 E. Columbia St. Evansville.  Private graveside at Oak Hill Cemetery.  Condolences made at www.titzerfuneralhomes.com.
