Ernest Clyde Ritcheson of Evansville, Ind. Ernest Clyde Ritcheson, 87, passed away, Wednesday, September 12, 2012, at Good Samaritan Home. He was born November 24, 1924, in Carmi, Ill., to Benjamin Franklin and Edith B. (Kingery) Ritcheson. Ernest worked in farming and construction. He was a member of Local 215. A special thanks to his grandchildren, Kassie Higgs, Billy Cazmer, Vincent and Barbara Taylor for all the care and support they gave to Ernie. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Buhela Mayes. Surviving is his wife, Martha Ritcheson; and a blended family, Phyllis Herder of California, Ernest F. Ritcheson of Evansville, Anna Kirby of Marion, KY, Brenda Sue Bailey of Evansville; James C. Taylor, Vincent R. Taylor, Katherine Taylor Rodgers, all of Evansville; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held 1 p.m., Monday, September 17, 2012, at Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Miller & Miller Colonial Chapel, 100 E. Columbia St., Evansville, Ind., (812) 424-9274, entombment to follow at Park Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 a.m. to service time.
