Erwin F. Glordan of Elberfeld Erwin F. Glordan, 96, died Tuesday, February 28, 2012, at St. Mary's Medical Center. He was born May 16, 1915. He had worked at Elberfeld Block Company and he retired from Elberfeld Manufacturing Company. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred (Besing) Glordan in 2007, his parents, Fred & Lizzie (Meyer) Glardon, & his sister, Elvira Ellerbrook. He is survived by his children: Deloyce Davenport of Grand Prairie, TX, Robert Glordan (Sue) of Corydon, IN, Judy Blackard (Larry) of Ft. Branch, IN, Karen Trible (Ralph) of Elberfeld, and Kathy Duncan & companion John Dyer of Wadesville, IN, also 12 grandchildren: Scott Glordan, Troy Glordan, Chuck Davenport, Shawn Fuller, Misty Workman, Stacy Brittingham, Jason Blackard, Crystal Sensmeier, Ashley Minks, Jacob Duncan, Heather Trible, and Heidi Trible; 23 great-grandchildren & 2 great-great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m., Friday, March 2, 2012, Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Volkman Chapel, 2nd & Elm Streets, Elberfeld, Indiana (812) 983-4211, Rev. Steve Oeth will officiate and burial will follow at Nobles Chapel Cemetery. Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
