Esther Mae (Maglinger) Reneer
Esther Mae (Maglinger) Reneer, 96, of
Newburgh, IN, passed away, Saturday,
November 8, 2008, at Newburgh
Healthcare Facility. She has now left this
home for her eternal home in heaven. Her
family and friends wish to thank
all the caregivers at Newburgh Healthcare
for their efforts and support.
Esther was preceded in death by her
lifelong soul mate, Robert Reneer in
1990; they shared their lives together for 61
years.
Esther was a member of Wayside Chapel
Church in Chandler, IN, and was a
devout Christian serving her Lord and
Savior, her church and fellow
Christian sisters and brothers in too many
ways to list. She worked for
Shane Uniform Company for 20 years, and
worked on airplane wiring
assemblies during WWII, and worked many
more years self-employed with her
husband.
Esther is survived by 5 children, Margie
Mitchum, Newburgh, IN, Barbara
Hayden, Owensboro, KY, George Reneer,
Conroe, TX, Sherman Reneer,
Thompsonville, KY, and Cora Gill, Boonville,
IN; 3 sisters, Temple Young,
Phoenix, AZ, Carol Turner, Sacramento,
CA, and Ruby Roberts, Owensboro, KY;
She was not only a wife, mother and sister,
she was also a grandmother with
17 grandchildren, a great-grandmother with
30 great-grandchildren, and
several great-great-grandchildren; many
nieces and nephews. She was a
wonderful role model for all of her family and
many friends. Her many
stories, her keen sense of humor, and zeal
for life will be greatly missed.

A celebration of life will begin with visitation
4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday,
November 11, 2008, continuing
Wednesday, 12:00 p.m. to service time at
Titzer Family Funeral Homes ~ Simpson
Chapel, 510 W. Jennings St. Newburgh,
IN. Funeral services will be held at 1:00
p.m., Wednesday, November 12,
2008, at Titzer Family Funeral Homes ~
Simpson Chapel, Pastor Leon Hatchett
and R. C. Mitchum will officiate. Burial will
be in Rose Hill Cemetery,
Newburgh, IN.
