Flora Lee Moutoux, 100, of Evansville,
passed away Sunday, July 13, 2008 at
Deaconess Hospital. She was born June 5,
1908 in DeKoven, Kentucky to
Willard C. Ghormley and Sarah (Callender)
Ghormley. She began her life in
Evansville at the age of two. She was a
former member of the Wesley
Methodist Church, and later the Albright
United Methodist Fellowship where
she belonged to the Keen Agers Club and
the Home Demonstrations at the
church. Flora worked in the Insurance
Department of Deaconess Hospital
for 15 years. She also worked for Custom
Data for 11 years, retiring in
1987. Flora loved gardening and raised
many beautiful flowers. She
especially enjoyed her recent 100th.
Birthday Party.
Flora is preceded in death by her parents;
her husband, Andrew in 1990; a
daughter, Patricia Williamson in 1995; and
sisters, Emma Sue Wessel,
Roberta Mattingly, Ruth McBride, Virginia
Scarpelli, and Donna Louise
Ghormley; and brother, Willard Ghormley,
Jr.
She is survived by two sons, Charles
Moutoux, Jr. and his wife, Bonnie of
Seymour, Indiana and Steve Moutoux and
his wife, Shannon of Evansville; two
sisters, Margaret Guthrie and Gloria Dean
Wallace both of Evansville; eight
grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren
and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m.,
Wednesday, July 16, 2008 at
Titzer Family Funeral Homes ~ Miller &
Miller Colonial Chapel, 100 E.
Columbia St. Evansville, Indiana with burial
in Sunset Memorial Park
Cemetery. Pastor Tony H. Johnson will be
officiating.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.,
Tuesday, July 15, 2008 and
Wednesday, 9 a.m. to service time at the
funeral home.
