George Alan Mears, 59, of Grandview IN., died Dec. 21, 2010 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital. He was a Vietnam Vet and retired Atlas Van Lines. He was preceded in death by his father, Clyde Mears. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Sandra (Rogers) Mears; mother, Dorothy; children, Roger (Kerry), Stephanie (Jason), siblings, John Mears and Lisa Reuter; grandchildren, Breona, Jaylen, Alanna, Kenzee, Kayla, and Kyrron. A memorial service will be at 11a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2010 with visitation 10 a.m. at Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Simpson Chapel, 510 W. Jennings St. Newburgh.
