Georgianna M. Tepool, 84, of Evansville, passed away Sunday, July 19, 2009, at the Heart Hospital Deaconess Gateway. She was born March 25, 1925, to Frank N. and Pearl E. (Allen) Schmitt. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in the city. Georgianna was a teacher with the Catholic school system. She was a member of the Needlework Club since 1972. She enjoyed playing cards, traveling, and was a charter member of the National Campers & Hikers Association. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leo Edgar Tepool in 1990; son, David F. Tepool in 2009; two brothers, Fred and Carl Schmitt. Georgianna is survived by two daughters, Carol Fiester of Evansville and Sharon Hayden of Missouri; daughter-in-law, Patti Tepool of Newburgh; five grandchildren, Christina Rowe, Michelle Pena, Timothy Fiester, Jason and Kira Tepool; five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, July, 23, 2009 at Titzer Family Funeral Homes ~ Miller & Miller Colonial Chapel, 100 E. Columbia St. Evansville, IN, continuing with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 610 E. Virginia St. Evansville, IN. Rev. Fr. Jean Vogler will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday, July 22, 2009, where a memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. at Titzer Family Funeral Homes ~ Miller & Miller Colonial Chapel. Additional visitation will be held on Thursday, 9 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
