Goldie Bunch Goldie (Wells) Bunch, 94, of Boonville, formally of Newburgh, passed away March 12, 2009, at St. Mary's Medical Center. She was born February 8, 1915 to Floyd and Kate (Smith) Wells, and was a very spiritual member of New Hope General Baptist Church. She was a wonderful and loving mother and grandmother; she was very giving, understanding, and forgiving. Goldie is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Walter "Tony" Bunch in 1989, her daughter, Shirley Rohrscheib in 2005, son-in-laws; Bill Hitch in 2008, Carl Lantaff in 2005, Larry Gilles in 2000, grandchildren, great grandchildren, her parents and brothers and sisters. She is survived by her children, Ralph (Linda) of Orange City, FL, Tony (Martha) of Folsomville, John (Brenda) of Evansville, Betty Hitch of Evansville, Paul (Carol) of Alaska, Mary Lantaff Mason (Mike) of Boonville, Martha VanBibber of Rockport, Ruth Davis of Newburgh, David (Kathey) of Boonville, Margaret "Maggie" Gilles Hodges (Mike) of Alaska, son-in-law, Herbert Rohrscheib, 29 grandchildren, numerous great and great-great grandchildren. Services for Goldie are 10 a.m. Monday, March 16, 2009, at Titzer Family Funeral Homes ~ Simpson Chapel, 510 W. Jennings St., Newburgh, Indiana (812) 853-8314, with Brother Gilbert Powell officiating and burial following at Bates Hill Cemetery in Yankeetown. Visitation is 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., Sunday, March 15, 2009, and Monday 9 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Condolences may be made online at www.titzerfuneralhomes.com
