Hazel Elizabeth Raley, age 88, of Chandler, IN, passed away, Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at her home with her family. Hazel was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Daylight. She loved gardening and spending time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edward Raley and her son, Ricky Joseph Raley and daughter, Darlena Fay Raley. Hazel is survived by sons, Larry E. Raley, Glen Raley (Rita), Jeff Raley (Linda), Ralph Raley (Vicki), Scott Raley ; daughters, Charlena Titzer , Sandra DeLong (Perry), Carolyn Springston , Barbara Purdy, Rachelle Small (Dean), Vicki Thompson (Herb); daughter in law, Connie Raley; sister, Susan Bradley; brother, Robert Ralph; 24 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, August 14, 2010 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 5301 Daylight Dr, Evansville, Ind., with Father John Silva officiating. Burial will be held in Reed, KY at St. Augustine Catholic Church Cemetery. Visitation is 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, August 13, 2010 at Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Simpson Chapel, 510 W. Jennings St, Newburgh, Ind. (812) 853-8314. There will be a rosary service at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
