Helena M. Shelton Helena M. Shelton, 83, of Evansville, passed away, Sunday, June 29, 2008 at VNA Charlier Hospice Center. She was born in Warrick County on March 8, 1925 to the late Henry and Lena (Weik) Tepool. Helena was a member of Good Shepherd Parish for 50 years. She was very active in her parish from playing bingo and cards to working the parish socials and quiltings. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilburn and son, Wilburn, Jr. and son-in-law, Dan Fonner. Helena is survived by a son, Jim Shelton and his wife, Peggy; daughters, Donna Elberbrook and her husband, Paul, Linda Fonner, Sandy Boeglin and her husband, Greg, and Michelle Garner and her husband, Jeff; fifteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to all of the staff at the hospice center. In lieu of flowers the family requests that Mass Intentions, for the Shelton Family, be made at Good Shepherd Catholic Church or donations to VNA Charlier Hospice Center. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 2301 N. Stockwell Road Evansville, Indiana. Rev. Fr. Attila Frohlich will officiate. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery in Elberfeld. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday, July 1, 2008 with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. at Titzer Family Funeral Homes ~ Miller & Miller Colonial Chapel, 100 E. Columbia St. Evansville, Indiana. Additional visitation will be Wednesday 9 a.m. to service time at the church. Condolences may be made online @ www.titzerfuneralhomes.com
