Henry Gocker Vaught, 79, of Elberfeld, IN, passed away Thursday, September 5, 2019 at the Linda E. White Hospice House. He was born on April 12, 1940 in Elberfeld to the late Robert W. Vaught, Sr. and Marie Wilhelmina (Gocker) Vaught. He was a graduate of Elberfeld High School and received an Associate Degree in Business from the University of Evansville. He was a plant manager for the Evansville Association for the Blind.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Marvin Hollingsworth, and Harold Hollingsworth; and a baby girl.
Henry is survived by his wife of 60 years, Beverley E. (Derrington) Vaught; children, David W. Vaught (Ileana) and Denise M. Cannon; grandchildren, Cameron Almsquist, Logan Almsquist, and Max Almsquist; brother, Bobby Vaught (Priscilla); sister-in-law, Barbara (Derrington) Anslinger (Bob); nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Henry's life will be held at 7 p.m., Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at Titzer Family funeral Homes ~ Volkman Chapel, 2nd. & Elm Streets, Elberfeld, IN 47613 (812) 983-4211. Rev. Bob Simpkins will officiate. Burial will be held at a later date in Northview Cemetery. Visitation with the family will held from 4 p.m. to service time at the funeral home.
