Henry C. Johnston, Jr.

Henry C. Johnston, 63, of Newburgh IN passed away at home by his wife’s side on Sunday, January 19, 2025.

Henry was born to parents Henry Johnston Sr. and Rosemary Fitzpatrick in Michigan on January 19, 1962. After attending high school, Henry pursued a lifelong career in roofing, to which he was very committed.

Henry loved discussing current events, taking an always unique stance on what was happening; he was also an avid outdoorsman, spending lots of time fishing and hunting. Henry loved spending time with his family, especially his wife and their shared assortment of kids and grandkids.

Henry was preceded in death by his dad; mother-in-law; brother-in-law Sam and his grandmother-in-law Louise. Henry is survived by his devoted wife, Kristin; children, Christina and Joshua; stepson Steven (Amanda); grandchildren Sebastian, Damien and Tamara; his mom, Rosemary; and his siblings Gordie, Matthew, Jeff, Shelley and Nan.

A celebration of life will be held by Henry’s family at a later date.
