James Earl Rhinerson, 79, of Newburgh, Ind., passed away Monday, September 7, 2015. He was born in 1936 to Earl and Loretta (Gilles) Rhinerson.
He worked at Bernardin Bottle Cap Company/American National Can for 42 years. He attended St. John’s Catholic Church and St. Rupert’s Catholic Church. He enjoyed going to spot shoots and he belonged to Oak Hill Conservation Club.
James was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Theresa; a grandson, Brian Sivolella; and his daughter, Jeana Rhinerson.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Norma Johnson Rhinerson; his six children, Tony Rhinerson (Karla), Debbie Rhinerson, Janet Jenkins, Rinda Rhinerson, Steve Rhinerson (Connie), Misty Rhinerson (Kenny Kimbell); nine grandchildren, Amanda Sivolella, Amieé Jenkins, Christopher McKenzie, Lindsey Gish, Jonathan Jenkins (Courtney), Chelsea Nichols (Kyle), Skyler Engelmeyer, Shelbie Mushrush, Payton Kimbell; eight great-grandchildren, Emilée, Kaiden, Keegan, Jaxon, Kylee, Rhieland, Oliver, Hailee; a brother, Eddie Rhinerson (Della); three sisters, Josephine Ubelhor, Susan Bunch, Barbara Libbert (Danny); and several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, September 12, 2015, at Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Simpson Chapel, 510 W. Jennings St., Newburgh, Ind., (812) 853-8314. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery.
