V. Jean (TenBarge) Clark, 95, of Evansville, passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at Little Sisters of the Poor/St. John's Home for the Aged. She was born December 16, 1915 in Poseyville, Ind. to William J. and Henrietta (Dewig) TenBarge. She attended Poseyville High School. Jean was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in the city since 1931, St. Ann Altar Society, the Senior Citizens Group at St. Joe, AARP, Little Sisters Auxiliary, and volunteered at Seton Manor for 10 years. She was an avid reader and enjoyed playing cards and bingo. Jean was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jerry Clark in 1980; daughter, Bonnie Bishea in 2001; son-in-law, Nickolas Garrett in 2004; great-grandson, Dallas Garrett in 2008; 4 brothers and 4 sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Linda L. Garrett; brother, William "Bill" TenBarge; 7 grandchildren, Paula Griesbaum (Mark), Teresa Flegel (Roy), Eric Bishea (Mary Rita), Greg Bishea (Sharlet), David Garrett, Denny Garrett, and Douglas Garrett; 7 great-grandchildren, Lauren Griesbaum, Lindsey Griesbaum, Mary Margaret Ryan (Kevin), Emily Flaherty (Pat), Eric Bishea, Nickolas Garrett (Tara), and Dexter Garrett; 1 great-great grandson, Connor Flaherty; 1 son-in-law, Norman Bishea; several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, April 15, 2011 at Little Sisters of the Poor. Rev. Fr. Ted Tempel will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday, April 14, 2011 and there will be a rosary service at 4:30 p.m. at Little Sisters. Additional visitation will be held on Friday 9:30 a.m. to service time. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Little Sisters of the Poor, 1236 Lincoln Ave. Evansville, IN 47714.
